Head of Taiwan – Contract Logistics

About the role

The Head of Taiwan for Maersk Contract Logistics (MCL) leads the country’s warehousing, transport and distribution business, driving profitability, strategic growth and customer retention.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver the annual operating plan, P&L and strategic roadmap for Taiwan’s contract logistics business.
• Lead end‑to‑end logistics operations, including distribution centres, transport management and new‑account onboarding.
• Drive operational excellence through cost optimisation, productivity improvement and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow market share, acquire new customers and expand existing accounts.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing leadership team, ensuring talent pipelines and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in logistics or supply‑chain management, with proven P&L ownership.
• Extensive experience managing large‑scale, multi‑site operations and diverse teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in multinational or matrix organisations is preferred.
