Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Supply Chain Officer will support BASF's logistics operations in Taiwan, ensuring timely distribution of products, equipment and materials while complying with corporate and governmental regulations. The role involves planning, order management, tolling coordination, material handling and inventory oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Convert sales forecasts into material, package and tolling plans and maintain planning data in MAP, APO and Z7C‑SNP systems.
• Place and monitor orders for products sourced from BASF SE, Agro B.V. and third‑party suppliers, handling import issues and supplier communication.
• Create repacking requests, sub‑POs and cost forecasts for tolling activities, and act as the primary contact with tollers.
• Maintain material master data in the Cobalt system and ensure accurate material creation.
• Monitor aging stock, manage red/black inventory levels and advise sales/marketing on replenishment needs.
• Prepare for CPS/EHS audits with tollers, conduct gap analysis and support regional QA activities.
• Participate in monthly S+OP meetings and provide customer service tracking for delivery reliability.
• Collaborate with the Information System Manager to maintain computerized records for efficient operations.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with EHS regulations and audit preparation.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with suppliers, tollers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MAP and APO planning tools.
• Knowledge of Z7C‑SNP and SNP planning modules.
• Experience using the Cobalt system for material and order management.
