Occupational Health and Safety Nurse

About the role

Google’s Benefits team is looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Nurse to help create a healthier, safer workforce for Googlers worldwide. You will work closely with People Operations to design, deliver, and evaluate health protection programs that support employee well‑being across diverse legal and cultural environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational health initiatives, including education, awareness campaigns, and health guidance.
• Provide first‑aid, emergency treatment, and health consultations to employees.
• Maintain accurate records of occupational injuries and illnesses, and assist with on‑site injury investigations.
• Identify, assess, and recommend workplace health and safety precautions.
• Promote healthy lifestyles through teaching and awareness activities.
• Collaborate with the Benefits and broader People Operations teams on local and regional projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Registered Nurse license and Occupational Health nursing certification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in employee health management.
• Experience with HR policies, employment law compliance, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strategic thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Fluent communication in English and Mandarin.
