Medical Enabler – APAC Rare Diseases

About the role

Roche is seeking a Medical Enabler to join its APAC Rare Diseases team. This permanent, full‑time position will support late‑stage development and near‑launch therapies across multiple Asian markets, working from Hong Kong or Taiwan.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic input and operational support for late‑stage development and near‑launch rare disease therapies.
• Act as the scientific expert for Roche medicines throughout their product life cycles.
• Collaborate in virtual, cross‑border, cross‑functional teams to deliver regional and global outcomes.
• Build and maintain scientific collaborations and value‑based partnerships with therapeutic area experts, healthcare professionals, and patient organisations.
• Identify data gaps and support data‑generation plans such as Phase IV studies and registries.
• Design high‑value continuing medical education programmes for external stakeholders.
• Conduct strategic medical review and approval of materials and communications.
• Liaise closely with global medical colleagues to ensure consistent data dissemination.

Required profile

• Medical Affairs professional with experience in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, health sciences or biotechnology.
• Demonstrated expertise in rare diseases is highly desirable.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and driving change.
• Potential for future leadership roles within the organisation.
