Medical Affairs Advisor – Oncology Focus

About the role

Roche Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Affairs Advisor to provide medical and scientific support for its diagnostic solutions, with an initial focus on oncology. The role is field‑based, building relationships with healthcare professionals to enhance product understanding and disease awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual medical strategy and tactical plans for assigned therapeutic areas.
• Manage medical budgets and allocate resources for activities.
• Lead clinical research and evidence‑generation projects to support decision‑making for practitioners, patients, and payers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with HCPs to increase product and disease awareness.
• Provide scientific and clinical support, answer product‑related queries, and deliver presentations.
• Stay current on scientific developments and disseminate medical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Review promotional and non‑promotional materials for compliance.

Required profile

• Medical or scientific degree with experience in oncology or related therapeutic areas.
• Strong understanding of clinical research, medical evidence generation, and healthcare stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex scientific data.
• Commitment to compliance with Roche policies and regulatory standards.
