Vice President, Equity Investment

About the role
Invesco is seeking a Vice President to lead its Taiwan Equity Fund and shape the regional equity strategy. The role combines portfolio management, sector expertise in technology, and leadership of a high‑performing investment team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the Taiwan Equity Fund, driving performance and investment outcomes.
- Develop and maintain the Taiwan country model for regional equity portfolios.
- Act as Taiwan Country Specialist and Technology sector lead, conducting deep research on Taiwanese companies and the broader supply chain.
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through fundamental research, company engagement, and market analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote Taiwan equity strategies, support AUM growth, and contribute to new product development.
- Lead the investment team, chair daily investment meetings, and ensure high standards of research quality and portfolio construction.
- Coach and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
Required profile
- 5+ years of proven portfolio management experience with Taiwan equity portfolios.
- Strong expertise in equity research, market analysis, and technology sector investment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that drive portfolio growth.
- Deep understanding of Taiwan’s equity market, corporate landscape, and industry trends.
- Relevant certifications such as CFA, Senior Securities Broker License, and SITCA License.
Required skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Mandarin and English.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Proven leadership and team‑development experience.
- Analytical thinking and decisive decision‑making.
