Technical Project Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions that underpin semiconductor chips and advanced displays. The Technical Project Manager will work in Hsinchu, Taiwan, supporting project planning, coordination, and delivery for internal and external customers while contributing to process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and coordinate activities from planning through implementation.
• Maintain matrices for process improvements and track project schedules, costs, and reporting.
• Align internal resources to meet on‑time and budget objectives.
• Interface with external suppliers and monitor quality and cost metrics.
• Report progress to internal customers and ensure project objectives are met.

• Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in the discipline and broadens capabilities.
• Understands key business drivers and applies them to accomplish work.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory responsibilities.
• Solves straightforward problems using technical experience and judgment.
