Team Lead, Material Procurement 物料採購課長

About the role

The Team Lead, Material Procurement will oversee the end‑to‑end sourcing and supply of materials required for production. This senior position ensures that stock levels are optimal, safety stock is maintained, and that procurement activities align with production schedules and customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast future procurement needs and monitor inventory to maintain safety stock.
• Collect and analyse market trends, supplier spend, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Determine material requirements and generate purchase orders.
• Ensure materials meet specifications, quality standards, and cost‑efficiency goals.
• Coordinate with production, finance, and other departments to align on timelines, supplier payments, and delivery schedules.
• Track production volume, customer demand patterns, and purchasing trends.
• Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and products.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and distributors to resolve issues.
• Manage inventory discrepancies, schedule changes, and order cancellations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, inventory management or a related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in buying, sourcing management, material planning or inventory management.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply‑chain management.
• Excellent verbal and written English (minimum TOEIC 750).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
