Support Engineer – Telecom & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a Support Engineer with strong expertise in IMS and cloud infrastructure to join our Taipei team. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and deploying equipment while delivering telecom‑grade solutions that meet contracted SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Own customer service requests from validation through root‑cause resolution, monitoring SLA/KPI performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Respond to emergency situations, restore network services promptly, and execute software implementations and equipment installations.
• Provide data‑driven proactive support to prevent service degradation and apply corrective actions for unsuccessful software loads.
• Mentor peers, share knowledge, and collaborate across functions to optimise system performance.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with IMS or cloud‑infrastructure systems.
• Proficiency in at least one core component (e.g., CSCF, MGCF, BGCF, MRF, SBC) or cloud platform (OpenStack, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ability in end‑to‑end fault resolution, root‑cause analysis and release/change management.
• Familiarity with CSR handling, customer problem management and trade compliance processes.
