Staff Data Analyst – Pricing

About the role

Coupang is expanding its e‑commerce operations in Taiwan and seeks a Staff Data Analyst for the Pricing team. You will ensure report quality, support decision‑making algorithms, and collaborate across Pricing, Retail Commerce, 3P Commerce, and Promotions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop decision‑making systems to improve business operation efficiency.
• Analyze domain data to generate insights and define key metrics.
• Explain reports, algorithm details, and results to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Prioritize metric development requests and lead junior analysts on key initiatives.
• Maintain and update reports and systems, adopting new technologies and methodologies.
• Train and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• MS in mathematics, statistics, or related field (or BS with extensive experience).
• 6+ years of experience in data science, business analytics, or quantitative roles (9+ years with BS).
• Excellent SQL skills and proficiency in English.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and algorithm design.
• Proven ability to initiate analytics projects and deliver actionable insights.
