Staff Data Analyst

About the role

Coupang is expanding in Taiwan and is looking for a Staff Data Analyst (product analyst) to provide reports and insights that help management deliver a top-notch customer experience. The team collects tens of billions of data points from millions of customers to turn them into meaningful insights about customer behavior.

Key responsibilities

• Create and provide new customer experience metrics and insights to ensure the best shopping experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, program managers, engineers and other stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
• Create and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly business reports, and work with other teams to present quality insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Act as an expert thought leader in ecommerce and fulfillment service analytics.

Required profile

• 7+ years of work experience in data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in statistics or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to take initiative, judge quickly in a fast-paced environment, and solve non-structural problems.
• Clear communication of analysis results.
• Experience in fraud is a plus; strong English is a plus.

Required skills

• Expert SQL knowledge.
• Big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark and Presto.
• BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Preferred: Python, R/SAS, Git/SVN, e-commerce log analysis, and a Master's degree.
