Sr. Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

AMD is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to drive forecasting and planning for advanced packaging operations. The role ensures demand‑supply alignment across wafer production, partnering with engineering, factory planning, supply planning and manufacturing strategy teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand and start‑up forecasts for short‑term execution and long‑term capacity planning.
• Build and manage planning models that incorporate wafer constraints and multi‑scenario analyses.
• Assess risk and trade‑offs using multiple demand signals, yield changes and capacity limits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align assumptions, integrate yield parameters and support qualification readiness.
• Analyze freight spending, recommend cost‑effective shipping routes and monitor incoterms and service levels.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation or AI‑enabled solutions.
