Software Engineer for System Power Modeling

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain a simulator platform for system‑level power analysis of SOCs used in vehicles, mobile devices and tablets. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to manage power data and provide tools that help architects evaluate and optimise power consumption.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a simulator platform for SOC power analysis across automotive, mobile and tablet domains.
• Co‑operate with multiple teams to manage and curate a comprehensive power‑data database.
• Build tools that facilitate cross‑team data integration and workflow automation.
• Improve the performance and scalability of the power‑modeling system.
• Support architects and designers in evaluating system power consumption and identifying optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
• At least 5 years of software development experience in C/C++.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Python, Go and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with software‑engineering practices such as version control, release management, test automation and quality assurance.
• Background in database application development and backend/full‑stack services.
• Ability to debug, optimise code and automate repetitive tasks.
• Experience with SOC power architecture design or modelling.
