Software Engineer – Design & Development

About the role

The Software Engineer will develop, debug, test, deploy and support code for a range of systems and products. Working within cross‑functional teams, you will contribute to high‑quality product development from firmware to application layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop technical solutions independently for common segments and technologies.
• Participate in technical customer meetings and provide feedback.
• Analyze, design and create test‑automation suites.
• Develop processing platforms using configuration‑management tools.
• Maintain, support and enhance existing systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and users through peer‑reviews.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and apply best practices.

Required profile

• Ability to manage a single‑line engineering project with limited participants.
• Demonstrated individual leadership behaviors as defined by Celestica.
• Understanding of budgeting, cost accounting and financial impact of engineering work.
