About the role
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our fast‑growing team in Taipei. You will support a large‑scale global financial software product, work closely with our New York team, and provide 24x7 production coverage, including occasional Saturday shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and improve software applications focusing on scalability, reliability, automation, and performance.
- Monitor live services for availability, latency and overall health, and act on incidents.
- Implement DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and release management.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 client‑facing technical support, including on‑call duties.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements and design solutions.
- Lead incident response, resolve problems, and follow Change Management procedures.
- Update documentation in Confluence and mentor teammates on automation and reliability best practices.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of professional experience with cloud platforms and SRE practices.
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Solid work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to work in a shift‑based environment.
Required skills
- Cloud experience: AWS (RDS, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, CloudWatch, Kinesis, LLM) or Azure (AKS, ACR, Azure Functions, Azure Web App, Storage, Containers, LLM).
- Scripting/programming: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
- Familiarity with SDKs, VS Code extensions, Copilot, Power Platform (preferred).
- Windows or Linux system administration, networking, IAM.
- Version control and CI/CD tools: Git, GitLab.
