About the role
MKS is looking for a Service Support Technician in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The role covers on-site or in-house servicing, repair and installation of company products, and may include any aspect of field or customer support, not limited to system hardware and software.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers on the operation and maintenance of system equipment.
- Serve as the customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
- Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures.
- Determine the most cost-effective repair or resolution to minimise customer downtime.
- Prepare reports analysing product failure trends and serviceability issues.
Required profile
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Ability to sit, stand or type for long periods, communicate clearly and work closely with documents and details.
- Dedication to safety when handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water and heat.
