Service Coordinator

About the role

The Service Coordinator leads and develops a high‑performing service team, aligning daily activities with Alfa Laval’s overall service strategy and culture. The role ensures seamless planning and coordination of internal service requests, field engineers and external providers to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate internal service requests with customers, Field Service Engineers and external service providers.
• Manage daily work schedules for service engineers and monitor progress of service jobs.
• Review service requests, handle quotations for complex field service tasks and ensure targets are met.
• Control order backlog, credit queries and guarantee timely invoicing by coordinating with Customer Service.
• Monitor special tools, certifications, work permits and travel security, and administer service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety policies and accurate data entry in internal systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in service coordination, customer service or operations support.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems and service management platforms.
