Senior Manager, Finance

About the role

The Senior Manager, Finance will partner with all levels of the business to deliver high‑quality financial analysis and support for strategic decision‑making. This role involves researching complex GAAP issues, providing technical accounting guidance, and training employees on functional responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Research and resolve complex GAAP issues escalated from staff, providing direction on technical accounting matters.
• Train and educate employees on day‑to‑day functional responsibilities and resolve complex employee concerns.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify risk and exposure, recommending appropriate actions.
• Set and communicate team direction to align with strategic goals, developing staff performance.
• Research regulatory issues, identify risks, and raise them to senior management.

Required profile

• Experience managing professional employees or large, complex technical/business support teams.
• Accountable for performance and results of a finance team or multiple small teams.
• Ability to adapt departmental plans to resource and operational challenges.
• Full management authority for performance reviews, recruitment, discipline, and termination.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles.
• Ability to conduct financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Experience in regulatory research and compliance.
