Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

HTC is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Platform Engineering team. You will design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure and developer platforms that power HTC products, collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Operate and optimize production Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) clusters.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Automate provisioning and deployment with Terraform, Helm, and IaC best practices.
• Implement and maintain Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability.
• Enhance platform reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and platform architecture.
• Optimize cloud resources for security, cost, and performance.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve developer experience.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB, Route 53, CloudFront, S3, EKS).
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Istio service mesh.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and other IaC tools.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Linux system administration and containerization (Docker) skills.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, EFK/ELK).
• Strong scripting/programming ability (Bash, Python, Go, or Node.js).
