Security Risk Manager – Taiwan (Multiple Locations)

About the role

ASML is seeking a Security Risk Manager to support its Taiwan sectors (Linkou, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan). The role ensures information security risks stay within the company’s risk appetite and drives security awareness across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for security matters in Taiwan.
• Handle local security incidents and provide security‑awareness training.
• Conduct application risk assessments and scope security requirements for new initiatives.
• Define, validate and monitor implementation of security controls.
• Maintain visibility of the local risk landscape and evaluate risks against the organization’s risk appetite.
• Recommend and guide risk owners in implementing mitigation actions.
• Report progress to local and central stakeholders.
• Participate in programs, projects and change initiatives, and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in information security risk management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC (strongly preferred).
• Proven experience with risk assessment, risk treatment and control design.
• Knowledge of information security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience protecting confidential information and intellectual property.
• Familiarity with identity and access management and secure collaboration practices.
