Security Analyst - Detection and Response Team (DART Taiwan)

About the role

Coupang is expanding in Taiwan and is building its DART (Detection and Response Team) presence there, alongside DART KR and DART US. DART detects and responds to cyber threats so that the impact of security incidents is minimized. The Taiwan position is a security analyst role within the DART team, working closely with the Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC).

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to security anomalies, intrusion attempts and breaches, including root cause analysis, containment and reporting; candidates are expected to take direct ownership of incidents in Taiwan.
• Conduct threat hunting using data from endpoints, servers, clouds and networks to find undetected threats.
• Review tickets and perform security analysis on escalated cases from CSOC.
• Improve incident response policies, procedures and processes.
• Work on-call to respond to urgent security events.
• Collaborate with internal teams through efficient communication.

Required profile

• 12+ years of information security experience, with at least 8+ years as a Cyber Security Incident Analyst.
• BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• English proficiency is required.
• Proactive work attitude.

Required skills

• Experience analyzing security events and querying SIEM logs, including large volumes of logs.
• Host-based security investigation on Windows, Linux and network/security appliances.
• Analysis of network security solutions (IPS/IDS, Netflow) and endpoint security (EDR, HIPS, anti-virus, DLP).
• Scripting and automation with Bash, Python and PowerShell.
• Preferred: container environments (Kubernetes, Docker), network traffic/packet analysis and forensics.
