Regional Intelligence Liaison Officer – South-East Asia

About the role

As the Regional Intelligence Liaison Officer for South-East Asia, based in Taipei, you will develop security policies and lead both human and digital counter-intelligence investigations. You will serve as the primary intelligence liaison for regional stakeholders and coordinate intelligence operations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct enterprise-wide investigations focused on insider threats, sabotage, terrorism, industrial espionage and related crimes affecting the organisation, customers, suppliers and partners.
• Build and maintain regional partnerships, monitor geopolitical and economic trends, and deliver actionable intelligence to support executive decision-making and operational resilience.
• Collect, evaluate and disseminate threat information from multiple sources, including intelligence community contacts and agencies, with an emphasis on economic espionage.
• Analyse all-source intelligence to assess capabilities and intent of state-sponsored, criminal and other actors.
• Communicate threat assessments to stakeholders and work with the Head of the Intelligence Fusion Centre to design mitigation strategies and policies.
• Maintain a common operational picture of security operations in South-East Asia and provide regular reports on counter-intelligence activities.
• Contribute to long-term planning and strategy for the safety and security of all personnel, including protection of ASML employees.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in information/intelligence, security management, criminal justice, anti-terrorism, law enforcement or counter-intelligence.
• Significant experience conducting counter-intelligence investigations and managing intelligence operations in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of regional security dynamics in South-East Asia.
• Proven ability to work with senior executives and external partners.
