Project HSE Engineer

About the role

Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE), a joint venture between Air Liquide and Far Eastern New Century, is hiring an HSE engineer for its environmental safety and health unit to manage HSE matters on projects in the Lin Kuo Huayia Science Park or Hsinchu Science Park area. The position is project-based and will initially be hired on a regular contract, with full-time employment offered later depending on performance and project conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Familiarise yourself with company and client HSE standards and manage project HSE affairs
• Take part in toolbox talks and daily HSE inspections, and track HSE performance
• Manage contractors and organise HSE training
• Handle work permits and review and approve work safety analyses
• Organise and attend contractor agreement meetings
• Other tasks assigned by supervisors

Required profile

• At least 6 months of construction site safety management experience
• Proactive, cooperative attitude with good communication and coordination skills
• One of the following certificates (at least 3 of 4): Occupational Safety and Health Manager, Occupational Safety Manager, Occupational Hygiene Manager, or another relevant certificate
