Medical Specialist – North Area (Taiwan)

About the role

We are looking for a Medical Specialist to cover the North Area of Taiwan, focusing on the Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli markets. The role drives business objectives for rare disease and IBD therapeutic areas, building strong relationships with key decision‑makers and supporting the commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage field sales strategies in collaboration with Marketing, Medical, VD&A and Patient Services.
• Conduct field visits and establish relationships with decision‑makers and committees within buying organisations.
• Collect and analyse market data to produce short‑ and long‑term sales forecasts and support key projects.
• Monitor competitive activity, including bid processes and product listings.
• Provide consolidated forecasts and insights to regional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical‑related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year of successful healthcare sales experience and at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical or life‑sciences industry.
• Experience in specialty care, preferably in genetics, cardiology, neurology, gastro‑intestinal, CRS‑related rare diseases or IBD.
• Willingness to travel across multiple territories.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation and strategic selling abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
