Medical Scientific Liaison – Oncology

About the role

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) – Oncology will serve as a bridge between Pfizer and external medical stakeholders in Taiwan. This field‑based position focuses on scientific exchange, supporting the oncology medical strategy through collaborative projects and data sharing.

Key responsibilities

• Exchange clinical data and medical information on key oncology products with external stakeholders, providing unbiased, evidence‑based updates.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), facilitating two‑way scientific communication.
• Deliver accurate medical information in response to unsolicited requests from customers and stakeholders.
• Organise and support external medical initiatives such as advisory board meetings and Pfizer‑sponsored scientific events.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners on therapeutic area tactics, education programs, and society events.
• Assist in the execution and follow‑up of Pfizer‑sponsored studies, academic research programs, and Investigator‑Sponsored Research opportunities.
• Facilitate Expanded Access Program requests and ensure timely status updates.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1.5 years of experience in clinical practice, scientific research, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong scientific foundation with the ability to present data clearly and work collaboratively across functions.
• Excellent written and verbal English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
