About the role
Join Applied Materials in Tainan to lead materials project management for DFT-driven semiconductor products. You will coordinate engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing activities to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
- Perform make‑versus‑buy analysis and support outsourcing decisions.
- Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
- Manage material change control, cost targets, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with engineering to identify critical and long‑lead parts and develop supplier roadmaps.
Required profile
- Demonstrated expertise in materials management and project coordination.
- Experience with supplier negotiations, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, and procurement teams.
Required skills
- DFT (Density Functional Theory) knowledge
- MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
