Litigation & Dispute Resolution Counsel (Global)

About the role

We are a leading global brand in baby gear seeking a Litigation & Dispute Resolution Counsel to coordinate and manage corporate litigation, pre‑suit disputes, and regulatory enforcement across our worldwide operations. You will work closely with executive leadership and business teams to assess dispute exposure, develop resolution strategies, and protect the Group’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global litigation playbooks, dispute handling policies, settlement guidelines, and legal risk frameworks.
• Formulate dispute resolution and defence strategies for complex commercial, IP, product liability, and regulatory matters.
• Lead early intake, Early Case Assessment, internal fact‑finding, and liability/damages analysis.
• Manage global litigation operations, including external counsel selection, matter management, budgeting, and billing oversight.
• Oversee eDiscovery workflows, document retention notices, and privilege management in line with cross‑border data privacy requirements.
• Conduct cross‑functional dispute risk reviews and advise business units on litigation avoidance and contract remediation.
• Partner with executive leadership to assess dispute exposure, settlement strategies, and business impact.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 8–10 years post‑qualification experience in commercial litigation, arbitration or dispute resolution.
• Strong experience in commercial litigation, dispute strategy, and legal risk governance, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Extensive experience managing cross‑border commercial disputes involving multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to lead eDiscovery governance and external counsel management.
