Lead, Marketplace Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced retail marketplace professional to lead marketplace planning and drive strategic store location decisions for Nike in the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize city and trade‑zone mapping using customer profiles and market research data.
• Review and assess potential sites, develop concept and door project plans, and create an annual fleet plan supporting sales strategies.
• Report metrics such as new doors, space utilization, investments and productivity.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, translating business needs into clear requirements and coordinating with landlords and internal teams.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Sales, Planning, Finance and GC to ensure alignment on marketplace mapping initiatives.
• Identify and resolve complex problems, recommending innovative solutions and conducting thorough analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Project Management, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in retail strategic projects, retail expansion, real estate, marketplace planning or strategy roles, preferably in a global retail environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, data‑driven decision making and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and cross‑functional partnership skills in a matrixed organization.
• Resilient, adaptable, results‑oriented and able to perform effectively under pressure.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
