Key Account Manager, Commercial

About the role

The role serves as the strategic backbone of DSV's contract logistics division, safeguarding profitability and building win‑win relationships with high‑value clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of commercial models for warehousing, distribution and value‑added services, using Cost‑Plus and Activity‑Based Pricing.
• Act as primary commercial lead for key accounts, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and maintain senior stakeholder relationships.
• Drive the commercial side of RFQ/RFP processes from solution design to contract signing, identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
• Monitor P&L of existing contracts, detect revenue leakages and work with operations on cost‑saving initiatives or price adjustments.
• Lead complex contract negotiations covering SLAs, liability clauses and commercial terms.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of logistics cost structures and commercial viability.
• Proven experience managing high‑value client relationships and leading strategic account management.
• Ability to analyse financial data, optimise P&L and implement pricing strategies.

Required skills

• Expertise in Cost‑Plus and Activity‑Based Pricing models.
• Experience with RFQ/RFP management and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of P&L optimisation and revenue leakage detection.
