Junior Sous Chef

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Working closely with the Chef de Cuisine, you will help create authentic dishes, support promotional events, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to develop authentic dishes and contribute ideas for promotional events.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to kitchen colleagues at all times.
• Oversee food‑safety related administration for your section and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Follow plating guides precisely, adhering to dish descriptions, cooking methods, and presentation images.
• Manage daily ordering and requisition of ingredients to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure cuisine displays are safe, creative, clean, and meet the standards set by the Chef de Cuisine.
• Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction in line with MOHG Legendary Quality Experiences and service standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of culinary experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or high‑volume dining operation.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role such as Chef de Partie, Senior Chef de Partie, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
• Previous experience in a Forbes Five‑Star or luxury hotel environment.
