IT Internal Auditor (Technical Focus)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Internal Auditor with a technical focus to join our growing team in Taipei. You will work closely with engineering, internal‑audit partners and external auditors to ensure our applications and development processes meet the highest security and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on app and source‑code reviews to verify security and data‑privacy compliance (GDPR / APPI).
• Audit the software development life‑cycle (SDLC) to ensure code matches approved designs and DevOps controls.
• Execute IT General Controls (ITGC) testing, covering access, change‑management and operations to satisfy SGX requirements.
• Participate in group‑wide IT risk assessments, addressing cybersecurity, system availability and operational risks.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison in Taiwan for internal‑audit teams and external auditors such as PwC.
• Act as IT risk advisor for process‑simplification projects and future ERP implementation, recommending control‑automation solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT audit, information security or compliance‑focused engineering.
• Ability to read and understand code written in Go, Python, Swift, Java or similar languages.
• Familiarity with ITGC, US‑SOX and SDLC security and change‑management concepts.
• Native Mandarin speaker with business‑level English communication skills.
