IT Helpdesk Engineer – Taipei

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking an IT Helpdesk Engineer to provide first‑line technical support to internal users across Taiwan, Japan, Korea and other overseas locations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting Windows systems, hardware, software, network connectivity and workplace technologies both onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line IT support, log incidents and resolve service requests.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 computers, business applications, network connections and peripherals.
• Prepare and configure new employee computers, manage device replacements, upgrades, data migrations and equipment recovery.
• Deploy software and updates using Microsoft SCCM/Configuration Manager, monitor results and resolve deployment failures.
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, video‑conferencing devices, displays, printers and other shared workplace equipment.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and standardized deployment procedures.
• Create and update Knowledge Base articles, FAQs and troubleshooting documentation.
• Analyze recurring issues and collaborate with IT teams and vendors to improve service efficiency and automation.

Required profile

• College diploma or higher; degree in IT, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, Microsoft 365, printers and meeting‑room technologies.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
