IT Application Executive

About the role

The IT Application Executive ensures that core retail systems—including SAP, POS, and other retail applications—run smoothly across all locations. You will act as the bridge between business users, regional IT teams, and external vendors, guaranteeing high availability and data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain ERP (SAP), POS, and retail applications, handling configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Log and track incidents in the ticketing system, perform root‑cause analysis, and resolve issues within SLA.
• Perform system administration tasks, manage user accounts, and develop data interfaces for seamless data exchange between SAP and local systems.
• Monitor system alerts, conduct quality checks, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze retail processes, create data flow diagrams, and recommend usability improvements.
• Participate in application‑related projects, providing technical input for regional rollouts and local deployments.
• Collaborate with group/regional IT, business users, and vendors while maintaining technical documentation and user guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT application role within a retail environment.
• Strong communication skills, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.

Required skills

• Proven expertise in SAP and ERP application management.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data interface development.
• Experience with system configuration, user administration, and ticketing systems.
• Ability to perform root‑cause analysis and ensure data integrity across ERP, POS, and WMS landscapes.
