Investment Manager

About the role

Synera Renewable Energy (SRE) is expanding its offshore wind portfolio across Asia and is looking for an Investment Manager to join its Investments team in Taipei. The role will support the financial planning, commercial analysis and bankability of offshore wind projects from early opportunity assessment through to late‑stage development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate project viability, returns and risk.
• Perform quantitative assessments and sensitivity analyses for new investment opportunities and existing projects.
• Collaborate with development, technical and regulatory teams to update project economics as contracts are negotiated.
• Identify risk allocation issues and ensure alignment between project contracts and lender requirements.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and reports for shareholders, board and senior management.
• Manage external advisors, due‑diligence processes and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor junior analysts in financial modelling and project finance.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, investment banking or a related field.
• Experience with renewable energy or offshore wind transactions in Asia is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline; MBA, CPA, CFA or equivalent is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong financial modeling capabilities.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and quantitative assessment.
