International Tax Project Manager

About the role

TSMC is seeking an International Tax Project Manager to lead strategic tax planning and compliance for its global operations. Reporting to the Head of the HQ Tax Department, the role focuses on aligning tax strategy with business objectives across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the international tax framework, including corporate tax planning, transfer pricing policies, and cross‑border tax strategies.
• Oversee tax compliance and audit processes for overseas entities, ensuring adherence to local and global regulations.
• Design tax‑efficient investment structures and support organizational restructurings.
• Provide timely tax advice to executives on overseas investments and operational decisions.
• Monitor global tax legislation (e.g., BEPS, FATCA) and assess impact on business strategy.
• Coordinate with external advisors and government authorities during tax audits and compliance reviews.
• Prepare tax‑related reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in international tax planning from a headquarters perspective.
• Experience in publicly listed high‑tech manufacturing companies is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with anti‑tax evasion regulations such as BEPS and FATCA.
• CPA certification preferred but not mandatory.
