Intern Data Scientist

About the role

We are seeking an Intern Data Scientist to join Philips in Taipei. The role focuses on AI DevOps, model integration and data processing within a collaborative, supervised environment. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver robust AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on AI DevOps activities, streamlining development, testing, inference, deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate machine‑learning models into end products, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Perform data cleansing, validation and verification to maintain data quality for model training.
• Train and retrain AI systems, conduct statistical analysis and fine‑tune models based on test results.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews and quality‑assurance activities under direct supervision.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Experience with data processing, analytics or AI modeling.
• Preferred certification: Artificial Intelligence Board of America (ARTiBA) certified.
