Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) is seeking an Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer to join its IT team. The role focuses on planning, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting server and data‑center systems that support VIS’s semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot server systems.
• Design and manage enterprise data storage and SAN topology.
• Operate and monitor data backup and antivirus/security platforms.
• Support and maintain Kubernetes platforms and Docker containers.
• Audit and manage data‑center operations, ensuring high availability.
• Collaborate on infrastructure projects and provide performance analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Familiarity with cluster platforms (Windows Cluster or Linux Cluster) is a plus.
• Certifications such as RHCE or RHCA are advantageous.
