Head of Medical, Regulatory & Pharmacovigilance

About the role

As the Head of Medical, Regulatory & Pharmacovigilance at Novo Nordisk Taiwan, you will drive the strategic direction and operational excellence of our medical, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance functions. You will be the key medical spokesperson for the affiliate, shaping how life‑changing therapies reach patients across Taiwan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive medical, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance strategies aligned with product portfolios.
• Lead high‑impact scientific engagement with professional societies, thought leaders, and digital opinion leaders.
• Represent the affiliate with governmental agencies, professional associations, media, and the broader healthcare community.
• Ensure operational excellence and full compliance with corporate, legal, and local regulatory requirements.
• Inspire and lead a cross‑functional team, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and continuous learning.
• Provide strategic insight as a member of the Taiwan Leadership Team and drive cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Master’s, PhD, or MD preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a medical function within the healthcare industry.
• Proven business acumen and experience leading senior or manager‑of‑managers teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior executives.
• Regional or multi‑country exposure is a plus; pharma and consumer/OTC experience are advantageous.
