Hardware Design Engineer

About the role

The Hardware Design Engineer will own projects from concept through end‑of‑life, creating schematics, layouts, and bringing up motherboards and systems for high‑speed x86 servers and Broadcom ASIC‑based network switches.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑speed PCB circuits for x86 servers and Broadcom ASICs using OrCAD and Allegro.
• Create schematics, perform component surveys, study datasheets, and validate designs with digital oscilloscopes.
• Collaborate with validation, BIOS, firmware, and software teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Document designs for manufacturing transfer and support technical troubleshooting post‑release.

Required profile

• BSEE or MSEE with at least 3 years of experience in server/switch hardware design, debugging, and testing.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and testing environments is a plus.
• Mandarin language ability is advantageous for global R&D collaboration.

Required skills
