Global Sourcing Manager – Precision Components

About the role

Lead global sourcing strategy for high‑precision components and materials, partnering with engineering, operations and supply‑chain leaders in a globally recognized manufacturing and technology organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for precision stamped, drawn, machined and plated components.
• Identify, qualify and manage strategic suppliers to support production and technology initiatives.
• Build and maintain an approved supplier network, assessing capabilities, capacity and technical expertise.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align sourcing with product development and innovation roadmaps.
• Negotiate commercial agreements balancing cost, quality, scalability and supply continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 + years of procurement experience, or combined procurement, supply‑chain planning and engineering experience.
• Manufacturing experience in precision stamping, machining, plating or related metal‑forming processes.
• Strong understanding of supplier management, sourcing strategy, contract negotiation and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality methodologies such as FMEA, DOE, DMAIC or similar continuous‑improvement tools.
