About the role

The Department of Library and Information Science at National Taiwan University is hiring two full‑time faculty members. Successful candidates will join a vibrant academic community, teaching core courses and advancing research in library and information science.

Key responsibilities

• Teach required courses in Library and Information Science (LIS) and related subjects.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in reputable venues.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in their academic projects.
• Participate in departmental service, curriculum development, and academic committees.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in library and information science, information management, communication, educational technology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability or strong potential to teach core LIS courses.
• Solid academic record with research potential.
• Relevant teaching or research experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Subject‑matter expertise in library and information science or related disciplines.
