Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the company’s accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective internal controls. This senior position combines hands‑on accounting work with strategic oversight of financial processes and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team responsible for the full record‑to‑report cycle, including account reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Implement, monitor, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and metrics across the organization.
• Guarantee compliance with US GAAP (GE GAAP), ROC GAAP, and all relevant accounting regulations.
• Produce timely, accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee statutory and tax reporting, ensuring filings are complete and on schedule.
• Coordinate external and internal audits, providing auditors (e.g., Deloitte, PwC) with required documentation.
• Lead system deployments and enhancements to the ERP platform supporting financial operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 10+ years of finance/accounting experience, including at least 5 years in auditing.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project‑management abilities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (implementation and daily use).
