Finance Business Partner

About the role

Gate, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its Finance & Strategy team. The role will act as a trusted financial advisor to various business units, translating data into insight and supporting strategic decision‑making in a fast‑moving, remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a financial advisor to product, operations and commercial leaders, providing analysis, forecasts and strategic recommendations.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and rolling financial plans for assigned business units.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages with variance analysis and actionable commentary.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Provide full visibility into revenue, costs and margins, identifying risks and opportunities early.
• Drive accountability through KPI frameworks and performance tracking.
• Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and improve reporting processes.
• Support finance transformation initiatives as the business scales.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of finance experience with a strong foundation in FP&A.
• Direct FP&A experience and background in business partnering.
• Experience in management consulting or Big 4, preferably within crypto, finance or fintech.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA, CFA or equivalent is a plus.
