Field Service Engineer

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will provide on‑site installation, commissioning, planned maintenance and troubleshooting for our customers in the semiconductor sector. You will act as the primary technical contact, understand customer requests and ensure rapid response to out‑of‑hours calls.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain vacuum and exhaust management equipment at customer sites.
• Perform planned maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Provide field support and technical advice, reporting activities to the Field Service Team Leader.
• Respond to emergency calls within a two‑hour window.
• Travel regularly to customer locations within the assigned area.

Required profile

• Experience in field service activities is an advantage.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of electro‑mechanical assembly, PLC controls and electronics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build customer relationships.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
