Field Service Engineer

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will provide installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, troubleshooting and on‑site support for customers such as TSMC. You will act as the primary technical contact, understand customer requests and report to the Field Service Team Leader while maintaining a rapid 2‑hour response time for out‑of‑hours calls.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain vacuum and exhaust management equipment at customer sites.
• Perform planned maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Provide field support and technical assistance during normal and out‑of‑hours periods.
• Report activities and status updates to the Field Service Team Leader.
• Travel regularly to customer locations within the assigned area.

Required profile

• Experience in field service activities is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of electro‑mechanical assembly, PLC controls and electronics is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build customer relationships.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
