Facility Engineer

About the role

Molex is looking for a Facility Engineer to plan and execute mechanical, electrical and renovation projects, and to maintain related equipment and systems. The role supports safe, on‑time delivery and reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual engineering project plans, preventive maintenance plans and associated budgets.
• Translate user requirements into mechanical, electrical, utility and renovation solutions; prepare drawings, scopes, specifications and tender documents.
• Supervise contractors, control site activities and maintain project documentation to meet safety, quality, cost and schedule targets.
• Identify and implement energy‑saving improvements for HVAC, electrical, utility and other facility systems.
• Develop and maintain internal engineering standards and share them with other engineers.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to resolve technical issues and provide training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in facility engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.
• Hands‑on knowledge of engineering project management and preventive maintenance processes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical power, water supply, drainage, piping and conduit requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination and vendor‑management abilities.
