Facilities Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Facilities Specialist to join Cadence’s Facilities Maintenance & Operations team. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of critical building systems, office equipment, and safety procedures across our workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute annual maintenance for critical systems such as HVAC and UPS.
• Perform routine office maintenance, including basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Manage and maintain office equipment (copiers, coffee machines, water dispensers, vending machines, pantry appliances).
• Oversee gym facilities and equipment maintenance.
• Supervise cleaning staff and coordinate services such as carpet cleaning and sanitization.
• Maintain office greenery, seasonal decorations, and company vehicle records.
• Act as Fire Safety Manager, develop fire protection plans, and lead emergency response teams.
• Conduct safety training, emergency drills, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support office relocation planning and assist with cross‑functional administrative projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance and operations.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate multiple service providers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to safety regulations.
• Hands‑on approach to troubleshooting building systems.
