Export Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Export Logistics Coordinator will act as a key resource for coordinating export trafficking functions, handling data entry and distributing documentation for customer shipments. The role involves managing both import and export activities, ensuring proper communication with vendors, customers, shipping companies and customs brokers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export trafficking functions, data entry and document distribution for customer shipments.
• Manage the company’s import and export activities and ensure proper handling and storage of incoming shipments.
• Maintain relationships with shipping companies, co‑loaders, customs brokers and trailer providers.
• Arrange cargo, including dangerous goods (D.G.) and non‑dangerous goods, and oversee daily email communications with overseas offices and agents.
• Create documents and tax invoices for shippers, and work with ERP or SAP systems.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience handling ocean or air export functions, preferably in a customer‑service environment.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced office with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude; leadership experience is strongly desired.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Experience using SAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
