Export Executive Logistics Coordinator

About the role

BDP International is seeking an Export Executive Logistics Coordinator to manage export shipments across multiple cargo types, including dangerous goods and buyer consolidations. The role involves close interaction with shipping lines, customs brokers, and trucking partners while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships and open communication with shipping lines, co‑loaders, customs brokers, and trucking companies; negotiate rates.
• Coordinate export shipments, issue booking confirmations, and prepare freight lists for both hazardous and non‑hazardous cargo.
• Handle trade disputes or unexpected incidents with flexibility and effective problem‑solving.
• Provide quotations, inside sales support, and exceptional customer service.
• Utilise online booking systems for various shipping lines and manage documentation filings such as ACE, ACI, ISF, and others.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience handling ocean or air export functions.
• One to three years of experience in a customer‑service environment.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude with leadership experience strongly desired.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Required skills

• Online booking systems for multiple shipping lines.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and various container types (standard, flat rack, open‑top, ISO tank, bulk, refrigerated).
• Experience with global systems such as Meridian and BDP SmartVU.
• Ability to generate bills of lading, issue invoices, and manage reconciliations.
