About the role
The Export Agent, Gateway will deliver a superior customer experience for Maersk's GCA Air customers. You will act as the first point of contact, building strong relationships and proactively identifying and resolving issues throughout the shipment lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer advocate, understanding their business needs and ensuring a best‑in‑class service experience.
- Coordinate end‑to‑end shipment execution with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Monitor and adhere to agreed execution standards, IOPs and KPI targets.
- Identify upselling opportunities and drive value through the network.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in air freight forwarding.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other technical software.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
- Operations system knowledge for air freight processes.
- End‑to‑end air freight process expertise.
